Life; Spring; Change… A lot of that going on at our house this year… There’s me, the Mom, who has recently gone back into management; meaning a new work schedule and more time away from home… There’s Hubby, who although looking aggressively has been out of work for almost 8 months now; but allowing him to be home to take care of the boys… There’s Son1 who had moved back home for a year and a half and has once again moved back out for almost three months now; is now thinking of joining the military; and has left his dog Danny here for us to care for “temporarily”… There’s Son2 who is a Junior in High School, 17 years old and playing tennis this year… There’s Son3 who is going on 10 and in the fourth grade… And then there’s Holly, our cat, who adopted us a couple of years ago and moved in one Halloween…
So what did we do this past week…
We had to block off the boy’s bathroom as a makeshift kennel…
For the two newest additions to our family…
Meet Indy and Maple, two sisters from a litter of six… They are just six and a half weeks old… They’ve gone from toddling just a couple of days ago to running and leaping… Just a matter of days before they figure out how to get out of the bathroom… Especially since we take them out to play several times a day…
They have already mastered the litter box… It has been cleaned several times…
And they took right to kitten food… The water bowl is taking a bit more practice as they stick their noses in too far and step in the water with their paws…
